(pause) Ok, I took your advice, I thought "again"... it is still VERY rare, isn't it? YES, it is RARE. Not just the ability to write it, but the subject matter itself... Show me one piece of anything written by a young person, male or female, that even attempts to come to grips with what TADPOLE's saying... show me ONE... Better yet, show me ONE piece of FEMINIST writing that even has a clue to what she's even talking about!!! Those are female soldiers dying and making sacrifices, too, you know...
Oh, I see.... you're hung up on the fact that she's a GIRL and I LIKE that... try to understand... the whole male vs. female question is so absurd to me... its really too dumb for me to bother with, like racism... PPX: Of course it would be LESS COOL, as you put it, (I'm saying the TADPOLE post is MORE COOL... because it IS!!) simply because an older man might have been in combat before. She obviously hasn't, so I take it she is once again honoring her father, whom she has proudly displayed at her home page, (not the usual Globeclub fare),.she has a whole Vietnam Vets section there, featuring many pictures of her dad and his pals, in Nam and at the Memorial in DC. When I saw how she honored her father on her website, I instantly became her web-groupie for life, just like when I saw Demitria Monde Thraam mentioning her mom so many times, in so many places, I'm a sucker for that kinda stuff, you oughta know that by now, Monde...
(FYI, I like GIRLS, Monde, its what I do... I like them precisely BECAUSE they're girls... I like them BETTER than men... completely ON PURPOSE... its not evil, and its not insincere...)
BTW, checkout THE AMERICAN FREEDOMS http://www.popeye-x.com/antippx/000002df.htm , that's an ex Marine who wrote me about this same stuff, and how it directly applies to my site. You'll see that I saluted him, with many accolades, etc. I thought his point was excellent...
However, I repeat, TADPOLE took it to a NEW LEVEL for this board... so give her credit...
and the fact that she's young and beautiful doesn't bother me one little bit... IT MAKES ME GLAD... I see it more as a strong signal that SOME OF US really have moved WAY past all the stereotypical bullshit hanging up the past, I've observed "female over male" supriority in my own family for so long, I honestly forgot what it was like to be as stupid as you seem to think I am condemned to be. I can tell you have no concept of what I really think, and the fact you say "IF YOU THINK" shows it. How about "IF I THINK NOT"? Switch the phrases and you see how absurdly prejudiced your statements about my "potential" viewpoint really are. No one would ever argue the opposite side, it would be too ludicrous, so please don't put me on the flimsy end of a weak argument... Instead, show me someone who really espouses that view... kindly leave me out of it
