Chuckwagon brought over Eric, the 22 year old guitar player from the southside, he was glued to those speakers, it even over rode his nicotine habit for 6 hours. Hehe, luckily, he's into Miles Davis, especially On The Corner, which happens to be my specialty, I threw tons of Reaktor rhythms at him and he just played. Barry should have been here, he would have laughed like a cackling fool. Especially when Eric says "I'm into On The Corner", I just laughed and reached down and pulled out the CD, everything is always arm length in this studio. He couldn't believe I even knew about it, I felt the same way about him. I kept saying he had Reaktor in his DNA, I'd play these rhythm mixes full of Reaktor quirks, and he would answer them back with guitar quirks, it was a natural. Chuckwagon deserves credit for putting it all together, he had the dope, so he was "executive producer". But because he's been around for the past 4 years, the rhythm tracks I played are full of him playing drums. I added a little bass and that was it. 2 CD's popped out in the end, 14 tunes total, actually 10, one title had 5 movements, a la Miles. Its amazing how musical roots fit together. Miles Davis was here in spirit, as was Barry Littleton.
