looking
thru my vast lumbering hard drive ponderosa, got- da-yum, ma-yun! there's
these 'things' I call the 'songs', others say they need chords and lyrics.
At that point I get pissed because that's exactly why they're saying that,
the music compels a story line or a visual symbol of some kind, its the
force inside a song before its a song, and this energy is used as a burst
of inspiration for the explicit purpose of rendering a storyline in real
time to go "with the RHYTHM", see? See how without rhythm you
can't even begin to make music? Lunatik Putty is what it sounds like it
might be, its 'more insane' than mere Silly Putty. And the are many
Lunatik Putty's, like Lunatic Putty #2, and so on.
Wow, is
this guy some kind of stoned out DJ? He doesn't play ANY records? How's he
scratching so much? FOUR turntables and FOUR echo units? motherfucker only
has 2 hands, and they're tweaking other knobs. how'z he doing that? well,
the answer is nerve wrackingly complex, yet humiliatingly simple... it
depends who makes the Lunatik Putty that day... if its good stuff it
generally stays that way, for a while anyway, it only takes about an hour
to make a 60 minute CD, from a blank slate. It only takes about 3
months to figure out what songs are ON a CD, viewed as a whole, also
commonly referred to as an "album", it means a collection, or a
book, full of sonically desirable noize objects.
