life is absurd... death is the only thing that's real his name was Gypsy Doug, he was my friend... my REAL friend, when Babycat got murdered by Bob Cox, Gypsy Doug MOVED IN WITH ME, to keep an eye on me, and to help me out, believe me, I needed it, I know I drove him insane talking about my problems, and now something WORSE has happened to him, and I'll never see him again, except in my heart, like Babycat.. the whole time he was here, I don't remember Claude Morgan ever coming by even once. I saw Gypsy Doug frequently after he moved out, he came here and I went to his place, the 92 bus was our shuttle, my bicycle went on the bus with me, lots of fun riding around downtown. Gypsy Doug was a downtown person, you'd always see him walking around down there, but mostly I saw him at Blast gigs and in my studio. I see now I was "the lucky one" when Gypsy Doug came to live with me for a while. he's a part of this building, his vibe is everywhere... most of my clothes, lots of books he gave me... stacks of them... he took most of the photos of me you see in this website. I'm sure I have the master stash of Gypsy Doug photos, anybody who wants a .zip of them all need only beg gimme gimme and offer tribute... but NO COLLECTION PLATE will be passed, and most of all, no MELLOW SANCTUARY SYNTHESIZER a la RB Blackstone will be played in Gypsy Doug's memory... its bad enough trying to wipe
