Last night I saw Luna and her husband Dave Prince play live at San Antonio's best live music venue, Casbeers. I was truly blown away. They are sooo good! They got that hillbilly music thing down to the tips of their toes. It was definitely the best I've heard Luna sing yet. Of course I'm a shameless lunatic Luna groupie, and I have been for many years, but this was the first time I heard her in the flesh. She's only five wonderful feet tall, (with dimples), but her sound is BIG, at least eight feet tall, all the way to the ceiling of that little club, kinda pushing it up a little bit. ;) It was simply wonderful to see and hear Luna LIVE and I hope everybody who reads this is jealous as hell.

But it gets worse, much worse. Im talking about fucking Dave Prince on the Telecaster with a B-string bender. He knocked my dick in the dirt with that tone and those licks. Dave loves 7ths as much as I do, and the way he drops them in at just the right places gave me goosebumps at least 25 or 30 times during their set. Dave Prince is THE SHIT, I'm tellin' ya!

I really love watching them play because you can tell, its not just an act, THEY LIVE IT. I happen to know they live in a trailer in Kentucky, sinfully stocked with killer guitars, and they got the sound to back it up. Several times they got real quiet and pretty, and that kicked our asses, (me and Chuckwagon.)

Thank you, Luna and Dave for coming all the way to Texas so we could hear you and see you. I guess the only way you could get us off any more than you did last night would be to hire us to play with you! ;))))))) oh yeah, THANK YOU for the CD's!!!
