oboy, mumbling here, I'm so lonely, my best friend is an electronic box with little letters on a screen. it talks back to me and keeps me company. sometimes, I "fall in love" with aspects of its personality. mainly I just focus on my own reflection, which I study intently. seeing myself as I really am is agonizing, so I pretend I'm inside the box with my reflection. this eases my anxieties considerably, and this state of euphoria is when I usually "fall in love". it could be anything or anybody. at the moment its a german software synthesizer, next month it could be a real human being somewhere. I like attention, even from morons. its fun to be remembered.
I had a fender telecaster. I 'psychedelicized' it, I made a psychotic collage using decals. my mom said, "you ruined it", a friend at a recording studio pointed his finger, "is that the guitar of a serious musician?" another guy said, "I'll give you $1200 for it". I only paid $400... SOLD, to the man waving the dollar bills. I photographed the collage with many closeups before I let him have it. I still "own" the images I derived from it.
