I'm not an underwater expert and I haven't seen the actual footage, but the whole thing was taped. According to the videotape he's trying to pull the sting _out_ of his chest, which is probably not the worst possible decision. Go figure : Would you rather let the stingray trash around and mess up the wound for sure, or try and get it out yourself and hope for less damage. It was prolly a split-second decision anyway, and he was dead before he realized : "Crikey, that's my heart that was pierced"...... Anyway, the viddie will probably show up on the net anyway, so we can have a look for ourselves.....
