I've never liked these scum. For those who've never read Fangoria, the MPAA (Motion Picture Association of America) are the idiots who give hunky-dory ratings to mainstream movies, but won't even give an "R" to an adult-oriented movie if it's made by an independent. Unless, of course, the indie cuts out everything that makes the movie something an adult would want to watch. It's happened to indie horror movies for years. Many movie theater chains refuse to play unrated films, which keeps many genuinely independent movies out of your local multiplex. And now they're pretending to be regular citizens, stealing their personal information, such as social security numbers, all in the name of "stopping piracy." It's kind of like how the White House spies on people in the name of the "War on Terror," except the MPAA is not a legitimate governmental body. They're a trade organization. They have to go.
