I just watched Flaco Jiminez with his own band all night, and it was unbelievable. He's so jazz and blues, all while he's doing a polka version of Buck Owens, and its totally Mexican. Then he pulled a Miles Davis and played this long bent note, and the whole band changed to match it. It was probably normal to him, but it was fucking great to me.
